Superlative Degree

Superlative degree is used to express the comparison of three items or more. When we compare two items, comparative degree is used. Look at the examples below.

- Tom is tall but John is taller than Tom, and Robert is the tallest.
- I have three cars, Toyota, Chevrolet, and Honda, and I like Honda the best.
- she took English, mathematics, and history last semester and the English score is the best.
